A3 Poster La Molsosa
She is not just a forest spirit, but one of the last traces of the Mother Goddesses. She knows the secrets of the forest and embodies fertility, protection, and the hidden cycle of life. No one knows when she was born. Some whisper that she is older than coal, older than the holm oaks, and that her flesh is made of lichen and fungus; that she breathes with the damp rhythm of the mycelium.
She drags herself heavily through the dense vegetation, covered in moss and branches. Her breath, they say, can revive even the last bud of dormant sap, and if anyone manages to earn her favor, they thrive effortlessly, for she reveals to them where the best wood is, when the storm is coming, and which tree still holds fire in its heart.
Her vital energy is reflected in arcane number 3 of the Tarot Profanus.

INSPIRATION AND SYMBOLISM
Bring ancestral history to your walls: the guardian of the forest, unconditional love, and the wisdom of nature
Older than the holm oaks, woven from lichen, fungi, and damp earth.
In the depths of the moss-covered mountains of Catalonia dwells the Molsosa, an ancestral maternal spirit of the forests and a living echo of the ancient deities of the earth. She is the protector of the fragile balance of the wilderness, the mother who welcomes travelers lost among the hollows of centenary trees and the embodiment of an untamed, generous, and fertile maternal love.
Although the old charcoal burners feared her fury when fire threatened her realm of shadow and humidity, the Molsosa remains a benevolent protector to all those who respect the sacred rhythms of the forest.
Inspired by the Profanus collection, this striking print captures the magical essence, natural beauty, and mythical depth of the Molsosa. A facsimile reproduction of the detailed illustration, drawn entirely by hand, this work becomes a daily invitation to reconnect with nature, intuition, and ancestral wisdom.
Designed by art historian Eugenia García Domínguez and contemporary artist Leandro García Pimentel, this print has been created for lovers of nature legends, forest mythology, and Catalan cultural heritage.

Behind the scenes
Who are we?
Eugènia and Leandro are us, two Argentinians who share not only Profānus, but also seventeen years of life together, and many more yet to come.
A historian and an artist who emigrated to Barcelona in 2025 seeking to understand our origins a little better. For this reason, we researched the legends and myths of the Catalan territories, becoming captivated by their stories.
Our dream is for everyone to fall in love with Catalonia just as we have.
