A1 Poster of the Horta Labyrinth
At the top of the Horta neighborhood, where the vegetation claims its right to shade, lies an ancient garden that hides more than it shows.
The garden was created for enjoyment and bewilderment. It was built as a tribute to art, mythology, and the capricious beauty of the human condition. But what began as a work of landscape engineering, over the years, became a symbolic threshold to the unknown. For a labyrinth is never just a challenge for the intellect, but an initiatory passage.
This rite of passage has been immortalized in arcana 0/22 of the Tarot Profanus.

INSPIRATION AND SYMBOLISM
Bring ancestral history to your walls: the sacred labyrinth of intuition, transformation, and self-discovery
Only those who dare to get lost can find what they didn't even know they were looking for.
At the foothills of the Collserola mountain range, where Barcelona gives way to the stillness of historic gardens, lies the Horta Labyrinth, an 18th-century neoclassical garden conceived as a space where art, mythology, and human desire meet. More than a simple cypress maze, it represents an initiatory path: a place where logic loses its importance and only intuition, trust, and inner transformation remain. At its center, Eros awaits, reminding us that the journey of life is rarely straight, but full of twists, discoveries, and unexpected opportunities.
Inspired by the Tarot Profanus collection, this striking print captures the mystical atmosphere and symbolic symmetry of the Horta Labyrinth. A facsimile reproduction of the detailed illustration, drawn entirely by hand and inspired by medieval and Gothic aesthetics, this work becomes a daily invitation to embrace life's turns, trust in intuition, and discover the beauty hidden in getting lost.
Designed by art historian Eugenia García Domínguez and contemporary artist Leandro García Pimentel, this print has been created for lovers of Barcelona's history, garden architecture, tarot philosophy, and Catalan folklore.

Behind the scenes
Who are we?
Eugènia and Leandro are us, two Argentinians who share not only Profānus, but also seventeen years of life together, and many more yet to come.
A historian and an artist who emigrated to Barcelona in 2025 seeking to understand our origins a little better. For this reason, we investigated the legends and myths of the Catalan territories, becoming captivated by their stories.
Our dream is for everyone to fall in love with Catalonia just as we have.
