A3 The Witch poster
There was a time when destiny, far from being written by kings or prophets, was spun by invisible hands that wove in the shadows. Hands of care and shelter, that knew how to read a fever and soothe a cry, that understood the phases of the moon and the exact weight of every seed. Deep hands, rooted in the memory of the earth, of powerful women who, outside the mandate and the law, carried an ancestral knowledge born from listening to the earth, bodies, cycles, and dreams.
They called them by a thousand names, but none with justice. Healers, seers, heretics, enchantresses, midwives, poisoners, harpies, necromancers, witches. All clumsy attempts to name that which could not be tamed. They did not obey the crown or the altar, and for that, they were feared.
Indomitable archetype of feminine wisdom, remember that all art, all medicine, all revolution, once began with a woman alone before the world, armed only with her intuition and her desire.
All their power of manifestation is concentrated in arcana 1 of the Tarot Profanus.

INSPIRATION AND SYMBOLISM
Bring ancestral history to your walls: the wild initiator, the ancient medicine, and the sacred power of the feminine.
True magic is not imposed, but revealed; it is not mastered, but listened to.
Long before fate was written by kings or prophets, it was spun by invisible hands capable of reading the moon, soothing fevers, and understanding the rhythms of the earth. In medieval Catalonia, women who possessed the ancient knowledge—healers, midwives, herbalists, and diviners—guarded an untamed wisdom, free from both the power of the crown and the altar. Despite being persecuted, their memory and their magic could never be erased.
Transformed into an eternal archetype of female autonomy and initiation, the Witch holds the keys to all paths. She works with the elements, intention, and intuition, reminding us that every creation, every medicine, and every revolution is born from the courage to trust in one's own inner fire.
Inspired by Arcanum I (the Magician archetype) from the Tarot Profanus collection, this striking print captures the mystery, creative will, and ancestral power of the Witch. A facsimile reproduction of the detailed illustration, drawn entirely by hand and inspired by medieval aesthetics, this work becomes a daily connection to intuition, creativity, and the strength inherited from generations of wise women.
Designed by art historian Eugenia García Domínguez and contemporary artist Leandro García Pimentel, this print has been created for lovers of traditional witchcraft, herbalism, tarot philosophy, and Catalan folklore.
