HISTORY OF TAROT
The mythical soul of Catalonia, created to accompany you in your readings wherever you go.
The magic of the first tarot inspired by Catalan mythology, now in a compact format to take with you always.
The pocket edition of the Profanus Tarot concentrates all the symbolic power of the world's first tarot dedicated entirely to Catalan mythology in a compact and easy-to-carry format.
The result of years of rigorous historical research by art historian Eugenia García Domínguez and the hand-illustrated work of contemporary artist Leandro García Pimentel, this tarot unites the traditional archetypes of the Tarot de Marseille with centuries of legends, medieval myths, and Catalan symbolism.
Designed for daily practice and personal reflection, this edition includes all 78 hand-illustrated cards in a convenient and easy-to-shuffle format (73 × 120 mm). The set is presented in an elegant rigid cardboard box, decorated with blind embossing and gold foil stamping inspired by the cover design of the original Profanus Tarot book.
Its compact format makes it a practical tool for both professionals and enthusiasts, ideal for keeping it always at hand and using it in consultations, workshops, sessions, or any space for practice and study.

Behind the scenes
Who are we?
Eugènia and Leandro are us, two Argentinians who share not only Profānus, but also seventeen years of life together, and those still to come.
A historian and an artist who emigrated to Barcelona in 2025 seeking to understand our origins a little better. For this reason, we researched the legends and myths of the Catalan territories, becoming captivated by their stories.
Our dream is for everyone to fall in love with Catalonia just as we have.
